Wetzel and Tyler Well Represented at Fairs and Festivals Convention | News, Sports, Jobs

The convention was held from January 13-15, 2022. Several reigning queens from local fairs and festivals represented their titles at the event. Each young woman entered a 30-second event promotion, interview and evening dress contest. A total of 78 queens from across the state participated in the event.

“Tyler County Middle Island Harvest Festival Queen Lainey Brown and WV Oil & Gas Festival Queen Emma Kitchen both ranked in the Top 15. Nicholas County Potato Festival Queen , Brennah Groves, has been crowned the 2022 WVAFF Queen. She will rule the 2022 WV State Fair. “

The local fairs and festival queens who attended were: Jesslyn McCaslin – New Martinsville Regatta Fest Queen; Emmalee Estep – Back Home Festival Queen; Lainey Brown – Queen of the Middle Island Harvest Festival; Cora Grimm – Tyler County Fair Queen; Jamison Crawford – Wetzel County Fall Festival Queen; Amelia Williams – Queen of the Marble Festival; Breanna Herrick – 4th of July Hurricane Queen; Emma Kitchen – WV Oil and Gas Festival Queen; Jazlyn Ingold – Queen of Town and Country Days; Faith Yoho – Queen of the Clendenin Homecoming Festival.
