Ocean Breeze Water Park Is A Perfect Summer Spot Not Far From Virginia Beach

0

If enjoying a summer vacation on the Virginia coast this summer, consider cooling off at Ocean Breeze Water Park. The Ocean Breeze Water Park began in 1974 and is now one of the most fun family-friendly summer activities in Virginia Beach. Virginia Beach is one of Virginia’s biggest attractions and is packed with family attractions for everyone to enjoy this summer.

Ocean Breeze is an outdoor water park, but when the weather is a bit chilly, there are plenty of great indoor water parks to enjoy in America. Virginia can be very hot in the summer and can sap anyone’s energy. One of the best ways to cool off and re-energize everyone is to take a dip in a water park.

THE TRIP VIDEO OF THE DAY

Ocean Breeze Waterpark – Virginia Beach’s place to cool off

When Ocean Breeze Water Park opened in 1974, the park was just a shadow of what it is today. It started out humbly with just three waterslides (but it was still Virginia Beach’s only water park). Today it has more than 30 slides, rides and attractions.

  • First opening: 1974
  • Location: 2 miles south of Virginia Beach

The Ocean Breeze Water Park is one of the area’s top family attractions. It is even the only life-size family park in the region. Among their many attractions is their Operation Splashdown with their six-story family raft ride. There is a full range of attractions, some of which are dedicated to children.

  • Slides: More than 30 slides and attractions

Among their many attractions are:

  • Million Gallon Wave Pool
  • River Quarter Mile Tubing
  • The pirate-themed water playground
  • Operation Splashdown

Naturally, there are plenty of places to eat and drink. The park has four quick-service restaurants and two bars and grills. Plan all day at this fun water park and make the most of summer while it lasts.
