The South Dakota Cattlemen’s Association will host the 74e Annual convention and trade show December 12-13, 2022, at the Ramkota Hotel and Convention Center in Pierre, South Dakota.
This year, the SDCA is proud to announce that National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) General Manager Colin Woodall will be joining the event.
The Cattlemen’s Education series, which is sponsored by the National Corn Growers Association, will be hosted by the South Dakota State University Extension Team and will include an overview of the various livestock technologies readily available to growers at use on their ranch. To wrap up the program, Woodall will moderate a panel of growers who have incorporated the technology into their operation, as well as companies that are developing and refining these technologies to help growers.

- Max Cossette, Vice President of Development at 701x
- Nick Jorgensen, General Manager of Jorgensen Land & Cattle
December 13e, Woodall will address attendees over breakfast. Woodall will provide industry updates and discuss how the NCBA has addressed political issues on the Hill in Washington, D.C.
The SDCA Annual Convention and Trade Show provides a forum for members and non-members to network with other breeders, develop policy that will guide SDCA staff and management through the year to come and find out more about the latest happenings in the industry. The congress and exhibition is open to members and non-members.
