Florida Baptist College Attends Florida Baptist State Convention | Local

Florida special

From November 7-9, representatives from the Baptist College of Florida (BCF) in Graceville participated in the Florida Baptist Pastor’s Conference and the annual meeting of the Florida Baptist State Convention held at Lakes Church in Lakeland.

The theme for this year’s congress meeting was “Blessed be the Tie: A Family Gathering”.

Messengers, exhibitors and visitors attending the 2021 convention were greeted by BCF students serving in the registration area as they verified credentials and registered attendees.

BCF was also well represented at the Pastors’ Conference with Stephen Wolgamott, 2006 graduate, who led the time of praise and worship. During the convention meeting, James Ross, a 2006 graduate, preached the convention sermon. Several BCF graduates have held leadership positions during appointments and reports.

The 2021 annual meeting kicked off Monday afternoon with a preaching and dinner from the BCF Jazz Band, followed by reports from all cooperating ministries at the convention on Tuesday.

BCF was represented by a video of BCF President Thomas A. Kinchen speaking to messengers and illustrating how BCF prepares students.

The BCF admissions team and Lakeland Campus Site Administrator Stephen Thomas held an exhibit booth at the convention where visitors received information on regionally accredited degrees available at the Graceville campus, the Lakeland campus and fully online.
