Professor Ajeet Angral provided a detailed description of registration, submission of applications, admission, error handling and course selection. He also said that the PMSSS is a revolutionary scholarship program that has provided equal opportunities for J&K students to study at prestigious colleges across the country.
On the occasion, the Director of Amar Singh College, Prof. Bashir Ahmed Rather, highlighted the importance of PMSSS in transforming the educational scenario and developing skills. Professor Rather welcomed the participants and stated that AICTE has made the PMSSS easier and hassle free for the students.
Earlier, Dr Syed Mutahar Aaqib in his opening remarks outlined the goals and objectives of the program and how the PMSSS program has evolved over the past 11 years. He also deliberated on the benefits of PMSSS and highlighted various aspects of the device and its benefits for UT students.
The session was followed by a healthy and interactive question-and-answer session moderated by Nodal Officer, PMSSS, Professor Ovais Shafi, during which a resource person answered questions to the satisfaction of stakeholders. .
Program debates were chaired by Dr Syed Mutahar Aaqib while the formal vote of thanks was moved by Professor Syed Ishfaq Manzoor, Assistant Professor. The report of the session was prepared by Professor Kasira, Head of the Education Department.
This program was part of a series of interactive workshops conducted by AICTE in collaboration with the J&K Department of Higher Education at various university colleges within UT of J&K.
Workshops of a similar nature were held at GDC boys Baramulla on September 28, 2021 and GDC Kupwara on September 29, 2021.
