Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center (KTM&HC) is hiring! Join our team to support the event operations of our mission-driven organization. Positions available include on-site supervisor and parking attendants.

Do you have a talent for coordinating events? We are looking for an On-Site Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of private events at our site. This person provides excellent customer service and professionalism, creating a welcoming environment for all guests. The on-site supervisor ensures that each event runs smoothly, orderly, quickly and safely by ensuring that all attendees comply with the license agreement(s) signed by the client and its suppliers.

Qualified candidates have excellent communication and problem-solving skills to work effectively with customers and suppliers and quickly resolve issues that may arise. Responsibilities include: protecting our historic place by ensuring that the garden house, kitchen, bridal room, bathrooms, gardens and patio are used appropriately by all who attend the event and by all suppliers working in the establishment on the day of the event; and work with the event client(s) and vendors throughout the event, providing the necessary information they need to properly use the spaces provided and run the event successfully.

Weekends and evenings are required, and this part-time position averages 5-10 hours per week. Pay is commensurate with experience, with starting hourly rates ranging from $18 to $21, and the position is open until filled. Another option for those interested in event coordination: we are also looking for several parking attendants to greet visitors to our historic site as they arrive for events and direct them to their destination – parking lot and/or specific buildings – from effective and efficient way. Additional duties, including setting up and tearing down the event, may be assigned to the direction and support of the on-site supervisor. Weekends and evenings are required, and this part-time position averages 5-10 hours per week. Pay is commensurate with experience, with starting hourly rates ranging from $13 to $15, and positions are open until filled.
